Description
With this Silver Seal Enmore 1977 vintage, we discover a new original expression from the still of the Enmore Distillery located on the east bank of the Demerara River in Guyana. Distilled in 1977 and aged for 32 years, this rum was bottled in 2009 at 64.4%. Despite this rate, it turns out to be a very pleasant and extremely sweet rum.
While tasting, the bitterness felt at first quickly gives way to the freshness of the aromas of exotic fruits. On the palate, the gluttony is present, marked by aromas of mango, pineapple and apricot. Its finish, just as greedy, reveals a light flavor of ashes.
This Silver Seal Enmore 1977 32-year-old rum is a new memorable expression, just like the Silver Seal Enmore 25-year-old 1988 rum, 55.7°, an extremely rare Magnum cuvée, to be discovered without delay.
