The Conti* name comes from the famous Prince de Conti, of the house of Conde, who acquired the land in 1760 . *THE Romanée Conti is a French wine appellation d'origine contrôlée (AOC) produced on the climate of the Romanée Conti in Vosne-Romanée , Côte d’Or. It is ranked among the great wines of the Côte de Nuits. It is considered the greatest Burgundy. It is also the most expensive wine in the world , with prices up to several thousand euros per bottle.
