List of products of Jacques-Frederic Mugnier

Filter and sort 7

The domaine has just 1.5 hectares of grand cru out of its total 14.4 hectares. Frederic Mugnier stays away from the trends in winemaking used by many of his peers. Fertiliser last touched the soil in 1986, herbicides disappeared in 1990 and pesticides in 1995. This lowers the yield quite considerably, a quality much desired by Mugnier. The grapes are sorted diligently by the pickers before coming to the cellar in small cases. The wines are bottled after a second winter in wood without fining or filtration. The wines are rarely deep in colour but are brilliantly fragrant in bouquet and notably persistent on the finish.
