Maison Paul Jaboulet is extremely famous and dates back to 1834 when Antoine Jaboulet decided to settle in Tain l’Hermitage in the Rhône Valley. Handed down from father to son, they pampered with enthusiasm their vines overlooking the river from the Hermitage hills. All the generations respected traditional methods and family values. Nowadays, this Maison belongs to Frey family, Champagne wine maker and also owner of Château La Lagune in Bordeaux. Another aspect that makes this wine estate stand out from the crowd is their sustainable agriculture certificate. Which means that they don't use artificial fertilizers, only the organic ones, and apply the low yields principle. And it's Caroline Frey, the oenologist, that ensures proper conduct of the vineyards.
