Maison Paul Jaboulet is a very known Côtes du Rhône house; In 1834 , Antoine Jaboulet , installs his house in Tain l'Hermitage in the Rhone Valley . Since then, father to son , the family operates with passion, on the mythical hill of Hermitage , Syrah.

The appellation of Hermitage "La Chapelle" is linked to the small chapel of Saint- Christophe overlooking the terraced vineyards along the Rhone. La Maison Paul Jaboulet is the sole owner since 1919 .

The Jaboulet - Hermitage La Chapelle 161 was voted best wine of the last century with some other large bottles , Mouton Rothschild 1945, Margaux 1900, Pétrus 1961, Latour 1961
