Rum Long Pond Cambridge 2010 STCE Small Batch 57°
180.00 €
This Long Pond Cambridge 2010 STCE rum is a wonderful tribute to the Cambridge Estate Distillery: its name Cambridge refers to this Jamaican distillery which ceased activity in 1947.
Description
It is part of the Jamaican Stills range, designed by independent Italian bottler Velier, a range that reflects the multiple styles of Jamaican rums.
This rum is the result of a blend of 15 barrels distilled in 2010 in a double-twisted pot still by the Long Pond distillery, located in the parish of Trelawny, not far from the Hampden distillery.
After aging for 12 years in a tropical climate in ex-bourbon barrels, this Long Pond Cambridge 2010 STCE rum was then bottled at 57%, without additives or cold filtration, in a limited edition of 4,900 bottles.
With the mark STCE, a reproduction of the Cambridge Estate Distillery which is at its origin, Long Pond refers here to the rate of esters which is between 550 and 700 grams per hectolitre of pure alcohol. With an angel share of 55%, this Long Pond Cambridge rum offers a beautiful aromatic concentration.
This exceptional aged rum will seduce you with its intensity and its oily and tangy notes, characteristic of the Long Pond distillery. A real gem to collect!
