Rum Famille Ricci - Ovni N°5 57,3°

As its name suggests, it is a real UFO of the year 2022! This limited edition Ovni n° 5 from Famille Ricci is a blend of three exceptional rums: the 31-year-old Trinidad Distillers rum which represents 35% of the blend, the 27-year-old Panama rum for a 40% share and finally the remaining 25% are from the 22-year-old St Lucia rum.

Distilled in Pot Still and column stills, these three blended rums were then aged in bourbon and ex-Trinidad casks and bottled at 57,3% without added sugar or coloring.

The Famille Ricci – Ovni n°5 rum has a nose of coffee grounds and leather. On the palate, it offers a nice concentration and a nice fatness! Character and delicacy are well marked: there is a mixture of dark chocolate and soft caramel, all carried by the character of a heated wood then coffee beans in full roasting. The finish persists on these same aromatic characteristics.

The tasting of this old rum Ovni n°5 is a real gourmet slap!
