Description
This molasses rum was distilled in 2007 by the famous Travellers distillery, located in Belize, a small country located in Central America.
After aging for 15 years, this L'Esprit Travellers 2007 rum was bottled in 2022 at 64.6° strength cask, without reduction, coloring or chill filtration. Like all the other rums in the Collection L'Esprit, this rum comes from a single cask (here Single Cask # BB 19) and was only produced in a small limited series of 258 numbered copies, a rare gem for lovers of vintage rums!
On the tasting side, this aged rum from Belize reveals a beautiful authenticity. On the nose, notes of nuts, chocolate, candied citrus fruits, prunes, figs, butterscotch or even dates bring indulgence. In the mouth, the pleasure is accompanied by sweetness, that of notes of praline, coffee-cream, leather, maple syrup and honey. In the end, we find notes of roasting, cinnamon and caramel.
