Olive oil – Olivastra Seggianese, by Frantoio Franci 500ml
The cuvée Olivastra Seggianse is an olive oil made by frantoio franci in toscana in Italy, on the hills of Montenero of Orcia. This oil is made only from one kinfd of Olive : Olivastra, that gives its lignthy fruity taste. The haverst is hand-made, and it is generally made between the 1st and the 30th of November. Its color is golden yellow. The oil is clear and filtered.
The nose is fresh an delicate, with a scent of olive. Typically from the Olivastra variety, we have notes of vegetables, artichoke, with a light hint of banana. The taste is delicate and well-rounded, with well balanced flavours of fruit and herbs. This oil is a beautiful harmony of complexity with a spicy and fresh finish.
Excellent on toast of fresh mushroom, or with boiled lobster, seafood salad, fish couscous, chickpea soup. It will be perfect to make your own mayonnaise.
