This L'Esprit Monymusk rum comes, like all the rums in the L'Esprit range, from a single still and a single cask , here #BB 11.
Produced by the mythical Monymusk distillery, located in the south of Jamaica, this 2007 Monymusk vintage was distilled the year of its harvest.
After aging until 2016, it was bottled at 67° strength (without reduction), without coloring or chill filtration, in only 226 numbered copies .
On the tasting side, the apple is at first very present then a rich oak develops on raw oak, polish, wax, pine sap, fir honey. The suite becomes more floral on incense, potpourri, heather and lavender with a background of smoky roasted notes that harmonize with the fruity notes of apple, grape, banana, pineapple and citrus.
