Luca Gargano, the founder of Habitation Velier, has long had a special interest in the Hampden distillery, one of the oldest of the island of Jamaica. This Great House Distillery vintage 2022 seduced its experts with its very expressive fruity and empyreumatic notes.

The particularity of this cuvée is that it is the result of a blend of different Jamaican rums of different vintages. This Hampden Great House Edition 2022 is indeed composed of 74% HGM rum, distilled in 2019 and aged for three years as well as, for the remaining 26%, LFCH rum, distilled in 2011 and aged for eleven years.

The 2022 edition is distinguished by its particularly marked expression, from the first moments of the tasting. It offers a wide range of fruity flavors of great diversity that persist until the last drop. Medicinal notes add an empyreumatic aromatic and gustatory dimension to this deliciously complex profile.
