Description
The independent Italian bottler has selected this tasty white rum from the Seychelles, produced by La Distillerie des Trois Frères. Founded in 2002 in La Plaine Saint André, this distillery uses 100% sugar cane from the Seychelles, which grows on a granite and non-volcanic substrate, unlike the rest of the productions of the Indian Ocean.
After pot still distillation of the cane juice, this Takamaka rum was bottled at 56% without additives. Its high level of esters gives it a very intense aromatic profile: notes of tobacco, grapefruit and cane are very present in the nose. On the palate, the predominance of dried fruits and spices provides a sweet feeling of exoticism.
