The Cuvée Expression 2019 from Domaine des Closiers is a Cabernet Franc from the limestone hillsides of Parnay, in the heart of the Saumur Champigny appellation.
Description
The grapes are completely destemmed to avoid any astringency, then sorted. After undergoing a pre-fermentation cold maceration then a fermentation of about 1 month, the grapes are then aged in vats for 6 months.
As its name suggests, this Expression cuvée from Domaine des Closiers expresses all the richness of the Saumur Champigny terroir and the typical characteristics of the grape variety: the result is a fine, mineral and fruity wine that leaves no one indifferent!
