The cuvée Pertois-Lebrun Les Chétillons n°14 Grand Cru is coming from the blend of Chardonnays from two complementary plots: the plot at the bottom of the slope "Chétillon" and the plot in middle of the “Chétillon de Haut” hillside, on the Grand Cru du Mesnil-sur-Oger terroir.
Description
The Chardonnays that make up this cuvée are vinified and aged in vats and oak barrels. The bottles then benefit from a 6-year aging on the lees.
This cuvée Les Chétillons vintage 2014 was bottled in July 2015 in only 911 copies. Disgorged in July 2021 and dosed Extra-Brut at 2.5 g/L, this blend reveals the typicality of the two terroirs, which brings smoothness, elegance and marine minerality to this champagne.
This Champagne Blanc de Blancs Pertois-Lebrun Les Chétillons n°14 has lemony aromas and white pip fruits, accompanied by fine exotic, slightly woody notes. On the palate, lively citrus notes support the elegance of pure limestone. The finish is persistent with saline and aromatic notes.
