The Maison de Champagne Pertois-Lebrun invites us to discover the vineyard of the Côte des Blancs and its typicality through its emblematic grape variety, Chardonnay. The Chardonnays that make up this great Blanc de Blancs come from the terroirs of Chouilly, Le Mesnil-sur-Oger and Oiry, three towns classified Grand Cru de la Côte des Blancs.

This cuvée is aged on fine lees for 9 months in stainless steel vats (82%) and oak barrels (18%) without filtration or fining. The bottles then benefit from an ageing of at least 7 years on latte. Bottled in just 2,496 copies and dosed at 2 g/litre Extra-Brut, the cuvée L'Egoïste 2013 is the expression of a singular and unique year.

This champagne Pertois Lebrun L'Extravertie Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru offers delicious aromas of bakery, bitter orange, ripe white fruit, almond on the nose, then opens on frank chalky notes. On the palate, the attack is clean and lively with a creamy effervescence, a fruity and crunchy texture, supported by a lemony acidity and a chalky minerality.
