This precious case is composed from five different square bottles of 250ml. The Fifth Balsamic Vinegar are presented below:

1 - Balsamic Vinegar of Modena IGP, 1 Silver Medal, Al Profumato, 250ml

The “1 Medal” is a balsamic of great taste and persistence of perfumes. The warm and fruity notes of the cooked grapes are well blended with a well-rounded balsamic intensity.

Ingredient

Best cooked grapes, aged wine vinegar.

Ageing

In French oak barrels from the 1900s with the addition of aged balsamic vinegar extracted from centuries old casks.

Serving Suggestions

Raw vegetables dipped into a mix of oil and vinegar, ratatouille, creative salads. Sauce for light roasts and game. Red meat stews and casseroles.

 

2 - Balsamic Vinegar of Modena IGP, 2 Gold Medals, Il Classico,250ml

A “Classic” for the Giusti family. Good thickness, with delicate hints of sweet and ripe fruit joint with hints of liquorice and black pepper. A simple taste confirms a delicious balance of flavours and an extreme versatility.

Best cooked grapes, aged wine vinegar.

Ageing

In oak barrels with the addition of aged vinegar extracted from centuries old casks.

Serving Suggestions

Fish and white meat main meals. Seafood stews and sweet and sour sauces for choice cuts of meat. Cheeses and meat cold cuts.

 

3 - Balsamic Vinegar of Modena IGP, 3 Gold Medals, Riccardo Giusti, 250ml

Dedicated to the ancestor who created the recipe, born from sweet dried grapes. Aromas and flavours of plum jam and red fruits intertwine with a hint of honey and vanilla, for a great density and sweetness which makes it so loved.

Best cooked and sundried grapes, aged wine vinegar.

Ageing

In barrels with the addition of aged balsamic vinegar extracted from a series of centuries old casks.

Serving suggestions

Fresh pasta such as ravioli, selected cuts of beef, soft cheese, fresh fruit and dessert, for meditation.

 

4 - Balsamic Vinegar of Modena IGP, 4 Gold Medals, Quarto Centenario, 250ml

Born in celebration of the 400 years of the Giusti family. Deeply aromatic, with scents of ripe fruits, notes of tobacco, roasted coffee and hints of wood, by the long ageing. The taste is rich and smooth, with intense and spicy flavours.

Ingredients

best cooked grapes, aged wine vinegar.

Ageing

In series of antique small casks dating back to 1800’s. Extracted once a year in a limited quantity.

Serving Suggestions

Pasta with meat sauces, mature cheeses, and savoury fondues. Polenta and mushrooms. Grilled meats.
